Weapons Factory
This is the most recent piece I've created... finished it last night, took about 13 hours. I had the idea the night before, right before I went to sleep. I was glad I still remembered the next day. I love painting underwater scenes... especially when they are dark and creepy.
Elevators
A glass blowing artist friend of mine commissioned me over x-mas break to create him a piece based on a dream he'd had. He said he was hovering over a city, and the elevators were bursting out the tops of the buildings. I took the concept and created this piece. I'm pretty pleased with it... as always, never 100% satisfied but whaddya gonna do? The original print size is 19in x 13in.
Taliban Fighters
I recently watched a documentary called Frontline: Behind the lines of the Taliban. It was fascinating seeing the conflict from another perspective, and seeing the Taliban fighters up close. I was inspired to created a few of my own designs, all based on actual gear and cultural dress.
Tactical Warrior Classes
Tactical warrior class concepts I did quickly by using the same figure form. I kept them monotone for speed. I took the "Space marine" design to on the left into full color and finalized the concept with a polished piece.
GH Days
Zombie Pirate character concepts I did back in the "Gamehouse" days... ahhh, good times. Character on bottom right was illustrated by James Mcmillan based on a burly pirate concept I created earlier, I thought his take was fresh.
